2025-2026 (competitive)
This new soccer year (2025-26), player registrations still will be based on the Year of Birth. (In 2026-2027, it changes to School Year, pretty much nationwide, see next section below).

2025-2026 Mini Monarchs (a.k.a. Academy) & Rec Royals.
We will use the new nation-wide team formation cycle, that is, the school calendar system for team formation for our academy or now also called MINI MONARCHS (U3-U8) and for Rec or now also called REC ROYALS (U9-U15).
This new team formation system by school year promotes kids playing with the same kids they go to school with.

As said earlier, in 2026-2027, it is mandatory registration changes to School Year, pretty much nationwide. IYSA, the association affiliated to US Soccer where our teams enter to play outdoor leagues, is going to School Year registration. Therefore our competitive teams will adopt also the school year team formation registration method.
