2016 Trip to Spain

If you or any friends are interested in going to Bilbao, Spain in Summer 2016, please call the Real Soccer club at 208-713-8924

1. BACKGROUND

You already know the last five summers our club has brought Basque students and players to the Boise Area and, in fact, some of you have hosted those kids!

See some pictures of some of these trips in the Larrabetzu Cultural Exchange facebook page!

This coming summer 2016, besides hosting students here in Idaho, we will have the opportunity (thanks to our partnership with the Larrabetzu Cultural Exchanges organization), to take our players, former players, and friends to Spain too!

2. OVERVIEW

Students will be hosted by Basque families in Larrabetzu near Bilbao and the trip will consist of about 3 weeks, between  July 26th and Aug 17th.

Visits to the cities of San Sebastian (Donosti) and Bilbao, as well as Lezama (the training grounds of La Liga Athletic Club de Bilbao), and San Mamés, its stadium, are tentatively in our itinerary. Other cultural events are programmed as well.

For those travelers interested, we are also planning participation in a mini soccer tournament. Our soccer club partner in Larrabetzu, the Uritarra KT soccer club will be organizing and facilitating the soccer events. Interested players will be rostered with an Uritarra KT team!

We will also have accommodation options for parents who desire to go to Spain with their kid(s).

It is going to be unforgettable!

Note: As mentioned earlier, also in Summer 2016, Basque Students will come to Idaho at the end of June and we need host families. You will get 300 Euros for doing this! If you want to host a student, please see info and register here.

3. COST

The cost for the trip to Spain only 950 Euros plus the airplane ticket!

This includes the accommodation with a family, and the meals they serve at their home.
