Our competitive coaches are compensated positions. Coach compensation increases based on coaching experience, soccer education, and licensing, reflecting our commitment to developing highly qualified coaches for our competitive players. Detailed information regarding our competitive coaching structure, compensation, expectations, and benefits can be found in the internal Real SC Coaches Manual.

Beginning with the 2026-27 season, our new European affiliation with Villarreal CF, one of Spain’s top La Liga clubs and most respected youth academies, opens the door to an unprecedented coach development pathway.

This affiliation is a genuine, long-term partnership rather than a simple branding initiative. It is a true club-to-club relationship that provides our coaches with direct access to Villarreal CF’s player development methodology, technical expertise, coach education, and international programs, including opportunities for coach education in Spain.

Many of our competitive coaches began their journey as volunteer Mini Monarchs or Rec Royals coaches. We strongly believe in developing coaches from within our own club by providing education, mentorship, and meaningful opportunities for growth.

Returning Coach Appreciation Program

Thank You for Investing in Our Players

At Real Soccer Club, we believe our volunteer coaches are the heart of our Mini Monarchs (U3-U8) and Recreational Royals (U9-U15)  programs. Their time, dedication, and commitment make it possible for hundreds of children to enjoy a positive, affordable, and development-focused soccer experience every season.

As a token of our appreciation, Real SC offers a Returning Coach Rebate Program for coaches who continue serving our players season after season.

How the Program Works

Returning volunteer coaches who coach the following season will receive a rebate equal to the player registration fee paid for the child they are coaching during that returning season.

For example:

  • Coach in the Fall and return to coach the following Spring → Receive a rebate equal to your Spring player registration fee.
  • Coach in the Spring and return to coach the following Fall → Receive a rebate equal to your Fall player registration fee.

The rebate is our way of saying thank you for continuing to invest your time and experience in our players.

Our Returning Coach Appreciation Program is designed to recognize long-term commitment, not just a single season of service. As long as a coach continues returning season after season, they will continue to receive the registration fee rebate for the player they are coaching. We believe experienced, returning coaches are one of the greatest assets to our players, and we are proud to reward that ongoing dedication year after year.

Rebate Distribution

Rebates are distributed after each season has concluded:

  • Fall Season: Rebates are issued in November.
  • Spring Season: Rebates are issued in May.

Why We Value Returning Coaches

Returning coaches are one of the greatest strengths of our club.

Because they are already familiar with our curriculum, coaching philosophy, and expectations, they are able to create a smoother and more enjoyable experience for both players and families from the very first practice.

Returning coaches also help:

  • Provide continuity from one season to the next.
  • Build stronger relationships with players and families.
  • Reinforce skills and concepts introduced in previous seasons.
  • Create a positive and consistent learning environment.
  • Mentor new volunteer coaches within the club.

For players, seeing familiar coaches season after season builds confidence, trust, and team chemistry while allowing learning to continue instead of starting over each season.

More Than a Rebate

No rebate can truly reflect the value of the countless hours our volunteer coaches dedicate to preparing practices, encouraging players, communicating with families, and creating lifelong memories.

Our Returning Coach Rebate Program is simply one small way of expressing our sincere gratitude for the incredible impact our coaches have on the Real SC family.
