Our Foundation
Real SC is inspired by the legacy of the greatest club in history—Real Madrid. That legacy wasn’t built overnight. It was shaped by strong values that helped the club become a leader on the field, in the community, and around the world. At Real SC, we follow those same values (detailed below), to grow as players, teammates, coaches, and people.
These values have shaped what Real SC is today. Our founder, Juanjo Carmona—who has been a proud member of Real Madrid since 1978 and founded Real SC in 2002—has always worked to build Real SC based on these specific, yet universal principles. Thanks to this strong foundation, Real SC has grown into one of the oldest competitive soccer clubs in Idaho. Even though our club was founded relatively recently in 2002, we have stayed strong and resilient, overcoming tough times when many other clubs either disappeared or merged to form new clubs. This shows the power of our values and the commitment of everyone involved in Real SC, from players to coaches, from parents and friends to volunteers and from fans to sponsors.

Excellence means giving our maximum effort, aiming high, and never settling for “just okay.” Whether we’re training, playing a game, or helping a teammate, we want to do things with quality, leadership, and passion. At Real SC, we take pride in being one of the oldest competitive clubs in Idaho. That history comes with responsibility. Our commitment means living our values every day—on the field, in our community, and in how we honor the story of our club. We aim to work rigorously, be consistent, and make good choices to help future players enjoy the same opportunities we have today.

Each season, we set goals and work toward them with effort, persistence, and a positive attitude. At Real SC, we give 100% to every goal we set, always following a true team spirit. Everyone—players, coaches, staff, and fans—works together, supporting each other, focusing on getting better game after game and never giving up in games under any circumstances until the last whistle. Our club believes in teamwork built on kindness, generosity, fair play, unity, and understanding. By working as one, we can reach our goals and celebrate success together.
Respect
At Real SC, we treat everyone—people, clubs, and organizations—with respect. On the field, we play fairly and honor every team and their fans. Off the field, we build friendly and supportive relationships with other clubs and work together with local, national and international institutions. Respect is how we show we care about the kids, the game and everyone else involved.

Just like Real Madrid’s spirit crosses borders, our club welcomes players and families from all backgrounds, cultures, and ages. We are an apolitical, family-oriented club focused on unity and respect, proud to be part of a diverse and welcoming community where everyone has the chance to play, grow, and belong.

We stand by every child—especially those who face challenges or risk being left behind—creating an environment where all feel valued, protected, and supported.
