Based on the Real Madrid coaches’ evaluations, the top players from the camp will be invited to experience the Real Madrid Experience. Training will be conducted at Real Madrid City in Valdebebas, located in Madrid, Spain.

SUMMER 2022

Here are some clinics and camps for this Summer!

I. REAL SALT LAKE FREE CLINICS FOR CURRENT REAL SC PLAYERS AND ALUMNI

(1) May 28, 2022 @ Sandy, Utah (Also, attend MLS Game Real Salt Lake vs Houston Dynamo).

This trip was amazing with 50 of us attending! Here is the report of the trip, game score and some pictures!

(2) July 23, 2022 @ Sandy, Utah (Also, attend MLS Game Real Salt Lake vs FC Dallas).

– You can reserve your spot for a free clinic with RSL coaches (the clinic is 5:30-6:30pm the day of the match, that is 7/23) (more info below)

– Participate in the Parade of Kings (more info below) and

– Pay for your discounted Real Salt Lake tickets for the game vs FC Dallas, which is at 8:00 pm at the Rio Tinto Stadium, using this link.

The last day to register for this event is Sunday July 17, 11:59PM MST

Note RSL gave us access to 100 discounted tickets for our players at $17 (and unlimited discounted tickets for family and friends at $23). These tickets are $34 regularly.

FREE CLINIC

The coach running the clinic before the game (5:30-6:30) is a former pro who played with Real Salt Lake and Portland Timbers! His name is Taylor Peay!

You would just have to show up to the American First Field nearby the Rio Tinto Stadium, let’s say at 5 or 5:15pm so the kids can be ready at 5:30pm. Please wear our yellow training uniform.

PARADE OF KINGS

In addition, for the pre-game amenities, RSL invited our Real SC players to participate in their Parade of Kings. Players will run out on the field and line the perimeter of the field while the players walk out. We have 50 spots for this game, which will be given to the first 50 players registering to attend the event!

The last day to register for this event is Sunday July 17, 11:59PM MST.

II. GOAL KEEPER CAMP IN BOISE BY BRIAN SIMMONS, July 19-20,’22

At the end of this email I’ve included a discount code so Real SC keepers can register at a discounted rate.

Please see this flyer for more information about the camps TIP will be putting on in July. Here’s a brief rundown of what we’ll cover at training:

Session 1 will be a 90 minute evening session, and will focus on fundamental skills like footwork, positioning, catching, and low diving by practicing shots from the channel and cut back crosses.

Session 2 will be a 90 minute morning session, and will focus on high balls including crosses and shots, and reaction and tip-over saves.

Session 3 will be another 90 minute morning session, and will focus on 1v1 situations: when to leave the line, when to stay, how to maintain proper position when off the line, and how to execute the save from varying distances.

Why train with TIP Goalkeeping?

I have been the Director of Goalkeeping for multiple clubs throughout Utah, have been an Assistant Coach and Head Coach at the high school level, and have coached hundreds of goalkeepers from rec levels up through D1 university athletes. I’m currently the Director of Goalkeeping for the Real Salt Lake Youth Development Academy, which means I manage and train at all RSL public camps.
