3. MINI GAMES: ORGANIZATION & LENGTH

All teams will play 2 MINI GAMES using 1 hour block.

Be aware this is not a tournament just a fun way to conclude the event and all kids will get the same awards! All teams are in the same club and we all share the same colors and logo!

We have allocated 60 minutes blocks for your age bracket mini games. Coaches, please keep your games on time so everybody can rely and on a precise schedule, specially to keep on time the medal/picture block and attractions schedule.

  • U4-U5: the 2 mini games per team will consist of two halves of 8 minutes each, with 3 to 5 minutes break per coaches discretion and a few minutes to change fields for your second game if applicable. Format is 3v3 as usual. So it is clear, you will play two 8 minutes halves against a given team. Then, you will play two more 8 minutes halves against another team. (you may have to change to an adjacent field for your second mini game)
  • U6 and U7: the 2 mini games per team will consist of two halves of 10 minutes each, with 3 to 5 minutes break per coaches discretion and a few minutes to change fields for your second game if applicable. Format is 4v4 as usual.  So it is clear, you will play two 10 minutes halves against a given team. Then, you will play two more 10 minutes halves against another team. (you may have to change to an adjacent field for your second mini game).
  • U8 thru U15: the mini games per team will consist of two halves of 12 minutes with 5 minutes breaks. Format is 5v5 as usual. So it is clear, you will play two 12 minutes halves against a given team. Then, you will play two more 12 minutes halves against another team. (you may have to change to an adjacent field for your second mini game)

4. AWARDS and PICTURES (1/2 hour block, right after mini games)

Our players and coaches, as always, have been truly amazing so let’s recognize them!

Right after your 1 hour block games, coaches will take their team players to the event tent to get their well deserved awards and give the opportunity to families to take a team picture!

NOTE; AWARDS WILL ONLY BE GIVEN AS A TEAM (TO THE HEAD COACH, WHO WILL DISTRIBUTE TO THE TEAM). WE WILL NOT BE GIVING INDIVIDUAL MEDALS. THIS CREATES LOGISTIC ISSUES.

The main tent/table and attractions will be nearby where field 3 and 4 are in this map.

Please take your team pictures by our club banners so we can have colorful pics for our web page and social media!

5. ATTRACTIONS (1 hour block, right after awards/pics)

After your 1/2 hour block to get your awards and take pics, you and teams in your similar age group will have the jump houses reserved for 1 hour. This is the first year we have to do this. Why?

This Spring we have three attractions:

A slide/jump house combo, an obstacle course and a Soccer Kick game! Here is the slide/jump house combo!

IMPORTANT: (Change with respect past years!)

In past editions, attractions were open to any teams any time during the jamboree. This year has changed! Why?

The jump house companies do not offer attendants anymore and therefore we please need parents to monitor the attractions when their kids are using them. Allowing for 1 exclusive hour for same age teams will be a more safe and controlled environment for everybody. Every ride must be supervised by an adult to insure safety.

As said, after your 1/2 hour block to get your awards and take pics (after your games), you and teams in your similar age group will have the jump houses etc reserved, again, for 1 hour.

Lots of parents will be there making sure their kids are safe, kids of total different ages are not mixed up, numbers are kept low and in essence, the attraction time is enjoyed safely.

A COUPLE OF PARENTS should position THEMSELVES in close proximity to the entrance of the ride. PARENTS FOR EACH GROUP CAN DO 10 MINUTES ROTATIONS. THERE SHOULD BE ENOUGH PARENTS IN EACH ATTRACTION TO ONLY HAVE TO DO 10 MINUTES EACH

 ATTRACTIONS SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

8) No roughhousing, horseplay or flips should be tolerated.

10) Anyone who does not obey the rules after being warned should be asked to exit the ride. (Operators should understand that they are in control of the ride and removing someone from a ride who is not following rules is important for all riders’ safety)

11) The operator must strictly enforce the rules posted on the warning sign.

12) The operator must remain in control of the ride at all times. The inflatable must be supervised at all times while there are riders.

Have fun!
