The ReAL soccer club has been providing a thrilling program for kids in the community of Middleton now for some time. Over the last couple of years, the programs focus on proper techniques, professional coaching, speed training, and the creation of a soccer athlete that understands the sport, has developed many kids into players that perform above the average recreational level. With the clubs drive and determination comes many accolades and rewards, the latest is coach Pete Rossi U13 boys , second place finish in the 2014 Yellowstone Cup that took place in Rexburg ID, on June 13th & 14th.
These boys were on fire for this tournament and gave it everything they had on the field for each game, it was exciting. The team went undefeated all the way to the championship game after beating such teams from Idaho Falls, Preston, and others. The Final game was not a blowout either, this group of Middleton ReAL soccer players fought tooth and nail losing slightly in the end to an extremely quick Utah team. An impressive weekend though to say the least, and they ended up bringing home some hardware with a second place finish.
The Real Middleton teams travel to many tournaments throughout the summer competing in tournament play in and out of state. Whether it is spring, summer, fall, or winter you can bet this club is competing on the field or seriously training to become the best.
