Once again our amazing players stepped up and dominated play again at the 2017 Canyon Rim Classic by taking the title for the 4th straight year since 2014.  We outscored our opponents 13-1 this past weekend (May 6th-7th, 2017).  Our amazing backline defenders anchored by Tanaya Aden, AJ Carpenter, Journi Neitzel and Asia Jackson, Karis Luedtke, Kaelyn Strong and Kaylee Andrus with GKs Carissa Arthur and Madison McFate were responsible for three shutout matches.

Casimira “Taz” Thomas lead all scorers with 4 goals, with Madison Price, Courtney Peterson, Hilda Briceno, Brianna Pewe, Madelyn Arnold, Sydney Chandler and Allison Frost each scoring goals. The team was clicking on all facets of their game throughout the entire weekend by finishing strong in the finals with a decisive 4-0 win against Idaho Falls BYSL Fusion team.  Team Heat has completely dominated this tournament since winning its first championship title in 2014.  During this four-year period, Team Heat has complied a amazing undefeated  15-0-1 record with 58 goals scored and only 8 goals against.

This is the sixth tournament championship for Team Heat since coming to Real in 2014. Once again, well done ladies and continued success at State Cup.
