Competitive Program Coach:
Here are the directions for a coach and/or manager to add a club pass player (eligible player in our club to help in your team) without our club admins having to intervene:
Protocol:
1. CHECK FOR CONFLICTS.
Check for no schedule conflicts between your team and the lending team within Real SC (make sure there will be good amount of rest time between games or limit playing time). Our club schedule can be accessed here: Practice & Game Schedules | REAL sc – real boise cf, real middleton cf, real meridian cf, real caldwell cf & real eagle cf
2. KNOW THE PLAY UPS ELIGIBILITY RULES
Know the Play ups eligibility rules in the IYSA’s participation rule doc found in the IYSA governing documents page: Governing Policy Documents – Idaho Youth Soccer
3. OTHER IMPORTANT ELIGIBILITY RULES
Know the Team Rosters and Player Eligibility Rules – See RULES link here.
4. GAIN APPROVAL
– Contact your fellow coach to ask if he or she is ok doing this for their player in question. For example, a coach may have told a player that if he or she is not coming to practices regularly or performing better he or she would not be given additional game opportunities.
– Make sure your fellow coach, who is lending players to you, gets parent approval.
– Then get the player info (full name and DOB) from him as you will need this info to add her/him to your roster.
NOW THE FUN PART!
5. ADD the club guest player to your EVENT ROSTER:
As a Coach/Manager – How to Add a Club Pass Player to an Event Roster
6. PRINT your MATCH CARD (for the referee)
If you lose these links, you can always get the instructions at our orientation page, straight at the bottom:
7. CONNECT WITH YOUR INVITED PLAYER’S FAMILY – Once you have the player’s contact info send a welcome message to him or her with all details for them to find you on game day and have the proper uniform.
Contact the club manager with any questions!
